Hyundai Motor has announced that it will invest $300 million (roughly Rs. 2283 crore) in its Alabama plant in the US to produce electric vehicles such as Santa Fe hybrid and Geneses Electrified GV70. The Alabama plant currently only produces internal combustion engines.
