Rivian will cut its headcount by 6 percent, the electric truck maker said on Wednesday. The company will focus on enhancing R1 and EDV (electric delivery van) and speed up the development and launch of R2 and future platforms over the next 18 months, and told employees it is financially well positioned but needs to cut its headcount to support sustainable growth.
