Tesla is lobbying the government in Canada as an effort to set up an advanced-manufacturing unit in the country, a filing to the Office of the Integrity Commissioner showed. Last month, Elon Musk hinted that the company “might be able” to announce a new factory later this year and it could ultimately have 10-12 gigafactories.
